How to register

Post Registering

Before coming to the venue, please be sure to keep the QR code generated in your profile page handy along with a government-issued proof of identity, as the latter is a requirement to enter the IIT Kanpur campus.

Registration fees

Traditionally, the Debian events have been open to all-free events, but this time we are trying to collect a nominal fees from our attendees to cover the basic expenses of the event.

If the fee is the only thing holding you back from attending, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the organisers at “events [at] debian [dot] org [dot] in” and we will be happy to make the necessary arrangements to help you join us. You are also free to leave information in the Notes section in registration.

There are two types of registrations.

Conference only registration

    For general attendance of MiniDebConf Kanpur the registration fees is ₹200 (1.86 EUR). This includes entry to the event and lunch for both days.

Conference + Accommodation registration

    Attendees of MiniDebConf can use on-campus accommodation provided by IIT Kanpur which will be in shared rooms by paying a fees of ₹950 (8.86 EUR). This fees includes entry to the event, lunch for two days of the event and accommodation for the night of 13th (Friday), night of 14th (Saturday).

Thanks to our fiscal host - Sahya Digital Conservation Foundation - we are able to accept both bank transfers and UPI. Please make a payment to them via these details, and during registration mention your unique transaction code.
