This talk is about the life cycle of Debian, story of a Debian stable release till it reaches end-of-life.

The target audience is those who are new to Debian and who are curious to know how a Debian release evolves into a stable version and its lifecycle. The audience can find out various stages of a Debian release and how to plan migrations to a newer release.

The topics covered are different branches of Debian, package repositories and how to receive security updates after official period of security support ends.
