The Means of Communication

Debian is a complex machine with many moving parts and people who all come together to make the Universal Operating System, This talk will go through the history of communication within Debian.

There will be general detours and tangents into the details of communication protocols, what communities adopted, and what fell behind.

Generally working through to how one interacts with Debian, teams, one adopts using Freedom respecting platforms, and how different Debian groups generally organise, and how one can get involved with them.

Decentralising Indian Communication

This is more of a BoF for people interested in helping put together a Meshtastic/LoRA network, proposals, ideas, and communities willing to adopt something like this and helping put together the use of the hardware is the focus.

Interest in building out the hardware for something like this is also very welcome.

This will mainly be a kick-off point to get more local communities (maybe even within IIT Kanpur!) to start building network meshes and help demonstrate the feasibility of building and opening up communication to everyone!
